The partners committed to ‘Climate Proofing 100 million residents and infrastructure worth $100 billion in Indian cities by 2030.’ This sets a clear timebound ambition to mainstream ecosystem services and nature-based solutions to build urban climate resilience in India. For more information\, click here. \nThe Steering Committee also constituted four taskforces: \n\n\nCollective Building – For engaging with stakeholders at all levels and garnering greater interest towards the Forum and its activities.\n\n\nKnowledge – For developing relevant knowledge products and tools to fill the knowledge gaps that currently exist in the urban NbS ecosystem.\n\n\nCapacity Building – Capacitating key stakeholders through multiple modes of training\, covering a wide array of key knowledge subjects.\n\n\nPrivate Sector Engagement – Engage with the private sector to facilitate cross-learning and drive the operationalisation of potential urban NbS projects.
