DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the City of 1000 Tanks alliance\, this class will acquaint participants with the Water Balance Model and the development of projects that use water as leverage for climate resilience impacts. The model looks at collecting rainwater\, treating wastewater and  runoff pollution with decentralised Nature-based Solutions (NbS). The flow recharges the underground aquifer\, preventing climate change-induced droughts and saline intrusion from sea-level rise. Simultaneously\, it can mitigate risks associated with high-frequency floods as well as sewage pollution. \nThis Masterclass is for: \n\n1.
