This report seeks to generate practical evidence on financing NbS by examining nine case studies from across India.
The study maps ecological outcomes with the financial and business mechanisms/instruments underpinning the initiatives and analyzes these mechanisms to identify the factors that supported their successful delivery.
This includes the analysis of the financing instruments employed, stakeholder roles, governance arrangements, implementation processes, and enabling conditions.
